Recycle Right with Weekly Curbside Service!

Now you can be even more proud of your recycling efforts at home with WEEKLY curbside recycling service. Before placing recyclables in your blue cart, review the list of accepted/not accepted recyclables below and share what you learn with your family and friends. Remember, when you recycle right you're not only saving valuable resources, you're also helping your City maintain state-mandated diversion rates.

Accepted Recyclables
Plastic 1 -

#4 Plastic Bags
(please recycle by placing bags together in one single bag, also known as "bag in a bag" recycling)
Bottles and Cans
Mixed Paper
Glass
Pizza Boxes
(remove contaminated liner from box before recycling)
Plastic Buckets
(handles must be removed)
Scrap metal
(weighing up to 10 lbs without cords or chains. Items must fit in cart)
Household batteries and Compact Fluorescent Lamps
(batteries and CFLs must be placed in clear, plastic ziplock-type bags, labeled appropriately and put on lid of recycle cart for collection. Please keep materials separated, i.e. CFLs in one bag, batteries in another)


Motor Oil:
Place used motor oil in a sealed, one-gallon clear plastic container (1-7 plastic only). Please label container "Motor Oil" and do not place closer than two feet from your recycling cart.
